Post Singapore Summit
So many things have happened
recently. My head starts to spin and makes me feel dizzy. Stars and stripes,
and one star draped with red and blue stand side by side. Trump and Kim both took
friendly gestures on the world forum. American President Trump and DPRK
Chairman Kim have become friends, while ROK President Moon, America hater, and
his minions don’t know what to do in response. Moon has nothing but
anti-American rhetoric. He is a son of a communist. He is busy trying to
concoct something new to keep poor South Koreans in darkness. He won the recent
election with a ridiculous success by his sleight of hand. Voting and counting
are two different things. Moon machine can easily fix the counting as he
wishes. We still remember vividly the last days of Rhee Seung-Man and Park
Jung-Hee when vote riggings were rampant. History repeats. The citizens had
overcome those difficult times. Anti-Moon rallies in Kwangwhamoon are ever
increasing in numbers and intensity now. Cowardly media are silent like a dark
dead night. Moon’s crossing the border to the enemy country in secret could be
a treasonous criminal activity. Where are those righteous lawyers and
professors in South Korea? And Moon has reportedly destroyed the National
Memorial Cemetery into a public cemetery as a part of his agenda to erase the
spirit of the national patriotism. He criminalizes his political opponents. He
points his finger to a person he doesn’t like, his minions will take care of
the person by fabricating a fault. Witch hunt is everywhere. Alas, he destroys Korean economy by his
ignorance. He doesn’t know that the world economy is the US economy. The size
of the US economy is bigger than that of the remaining G6 nations combined. He
doesn’t know the rudimentary economy and the economic power needed to run the
nation. He is a radical ideologue who worships Kim. Sorry, Kim changed his
mind. South Koreans fear the tyranny and
poverty Moon eventually will lead to. They already started the movement to
remove Moon’s regime.
It seems Trump’s strategy to
bring Kim to the table instead of the battle field. Kim had succumbed to the
formidable stick behind the irresistible carrot Trump has offered. Nobody knows
what will happen next for sure. But the general reaction is favorable to the
extent that Trump may be the next Nobel Prize Winner. The young man, Kim, has
to drive out the poverty rooted deep in North Korea, if he wants to keep his
power long. His dictatorship inherited from his father and grandfather is found
unsustainable anymore. His coffer is already drained to the bottom needed to
feed his high generals. He has to change the course just to survive. He has the
only option to give up the nuclear weapons for the change. To do that, he had
to purge hawkish military brasses. But he has a lot more to do.
Trump clearly assured Kim’s
regime the security as the reward for the CVID over and over again. Many
Koreans don’t seem to understand what the security really means. Security from
whom? Moon would not attack Kim. China
would not attack Kim. America would not attack Kim. There is no attacker from
outside. The enemy is within. Kim killed his uncle and his own brother as we
all know. There is the evil power he has
to maneuver very skillfully to maintain his position. Or, he might be himself
an evil power. Trump assured him to be safe even from inside. Kim will keep
distant from even Moon because this man would not have money to give. Moon’s
regime has no supporter anymore. Trump would not talk to Moon, because he is a
dumb. China sees Moon not useful to Chinese economy anymore. Korean economy is
in shamble. Kim has a potential benefactor but Moon is he alone. Moon has promised
unrealizable peace to Korean people by promoting unification. That was his
campaign slogan. Poor voters were duped by the word, peace, once chanted during
the Winter Olympic. They forgot hungry brothers and sisters under Kim’s regime
in the North. Many South Koreans have been hypnotized by the illusive peace.
South Korea will suffer soon from high unemployment and economic downturn. Moon’s regime will be driven out by people’s
desire for food. He got power by revolution and will lose power by revolution.
It is the economy, stupid!
Do South Koreans want to
have a unified peninsula instead of the North and South existing separately? Of
course, both North and South want unification. We remember the flag depicting
Korean peninsula map waving at the opening ceremony of the Peongchang Winter
Olympic. They visually chanted unification. Moon choreographed all this and was
happy with it. Most Koreans have been duped. It is a propaganda driven
question. The real question should have been whether South Koreans want the
traditional free market nation or the dictatorial socialist nation of the
present North Korea. Moon has never asked this question. I am sure over 90% of
Koreans want the free Korea. I was surprised to notice that major US magazines
do not ask even this important question. I hope nobody asks the stupid question
anymore.
Americans have been friends
of South Korea. Americans know how to build a rich and happy nation. They saved
Korea from the communist aggression in 1950. Within three months of the
outbreak of the Korean War, General Macarthur restored Korean Government back.
But the Democratic President Truman feared Chinese intervention of all-out war
between them, wanted to end the war, and therefore fired General Macarthur who
determined to unify the peninsula. MacArthur was then the potential
presidential candidate for the Republican Party. General Ridgeway took over the
Macarthur’s position. This is the time of so called ‘1/4 Retreat.’ This is a
real story. The Korean soldiers were put in the fore front of the battle field
in order to avoid the direct US-Russia collision. It was not necessarily to
save American soldier’s lives. One time Ridgeway was surveying the battle field
in his airplane, he noticed a Korean military truck was running southward,
instead of northward to fight enemy, with a few civilians in the truck. The
truck was a military truck US provided for the fight. The Korean soldier
driving the truck had one thing in his mind to save his family forgetting his
duty to save the nation. He might be right in his myopic world to save his
family members first. Young American soldiers died in the same battle field to
win the war. Ridgway decided some Koreans are cowards because of their
ignorance. He had to change the battle plan. I felt like to hide myself in
shame at this story into a mouse hole if I could find one. When we saw the
recent votes cast overwhelmingly for Moon, it is said that Korean people voted
for Moon to secure peace in Korean peninsula. Do you believe that? Those who
voted for Moon have no better view than the truck driver had. They are myopic.
They are ignorant in my opinion. American policy makers would have considered
so many different options to take after seeing the result of the votes. I know
Koreans are not all stupid and not all cowards, but surely in confusion. Moon
had highly likely rigged the votes. But he must remember vote rigging has never
been tolerated by Korean citizens. Communist Moon will push to change the present
constitution into a socialist constitution very soon. There will be uprisings
and blood. The US help is desperately sought for South Korea to regain freedom
and prosperity. This is the moment of freedom or serfdom. Let us raise our
voices for free Korea to be heard loudly around the world. Let us also remember that the National
Memorial Cemetery is the symbol of our independence from the communist
ideology. (June 22, 2018, KYP)
